All-Metal Self-Locking Nut
Temperature Range:
to +800°F; +426°C
Features
Self-locking castellated hex nut, silver plated
High corrosion resistance
Low magnetic
permeability
Complies with MS21225 and NASM21225
A286 steel
What it Is
The all-metal Dyna-Nut design is a high temperature, self-locking, steel hex nut designed for environments where corrosion resistance is necessary and a wide temperature range, including high temperatures, exist.
How it Works
Dyna-Nut castellated nuts are crimped to create an all metal locking device and tested to meet the locking requirements of NASM-25027 (formerly MIL-N-25027) and other industry and customer standards. Castellated nuts are designed and frequently used with single hole drilled bolts and cotter pins or safety wire for added locking assurance.
Typical Applications
rod end bearings
military vehicles
actuators
